Nantucket native and resident Chuck Davis has been serving the Island of Nantucket since 1973. Initially Chuck was involved in the carpentry and caretaking business and only through his frustration with the flooring company never being on time did he venture into the flooring business himself.

Chuck Davis truly found his passion and became the leading flooring company on Nantucket. Chuck has been solely dedicated to the flooring industry since 1990. Davis Flooring Inc. is the most experienced flooring company on Nantucket having installed over one million square feet of wood flooring and sanded and finished over three million square feet of wood flooring over the years.

Chuck is very proud of the reputation and relationships he has established with his clients. Davis Flooring has taken care of the needs of homeowners, contractors, caretakers, interior designers, architects and Nantucket businesses with the same basic principle in mind; provide a quality product, be on time, and deliver it on time.

Chuck has always been very involved with the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club and the flooring business has provided him a unique way to support the club even more. Each year before the Club hosts its annual summer basketball camp he is able to go in and donate his time in refinishing the gym floor.
